Crash survivor fatally struck by passing car in Otero County
Jason Clapper, 35, of Alamogordo, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to New Mexico State Police.
NMSP reported they begin investigating the fatal crash about 5:30 a.m. Sept. 16 around mile post 11 on US 82, between Alamogordo and Cloudcroft.

Investigators said Jason Clapper rolled over in the vehicle he was driving along U.S. Highway 82 between Alamogordo and Cloudcroft early Sunday morning.
Clapper was speeding right before his car drove off the roadway and rolled over, according to state police.
