New Mexico State University, whose police department is investigating the crash, said Wednesday the drivers of two vehicles that were struck during the crash are OK, though one driver sustained minor injuries.
Richter, who was headed eastbound on University Avenue on his yellow 2004 Suzuki motorcycle, was "observed by an NMSU officer at the intersection of Espina Street" running a red light.
