Friday, September 5, 2014Corinth man dead after being hit by car, driver charged with DWI
The accident happened at 3:13 a.m. at the intersection of Route 9N and Atone Mountain Road, according to a news release. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car striking a man. When sheriff’s deputies arrived, they used CPR in an attempt to resuscitate the victim. Jessups Landing EMS transported the man to Saratoga Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Singh was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated and two misdemeanor counts of DWI and taken to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
