Shannon Rees charged with DUI after two car crash that sends other driver to hospital.

A Niagara Falls man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Military Road in the Town of Niagara late Friday night, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies reported, and the driver of the other vehicle was charged with driving while intoxicated. The 21-year-old injured man, whom deputies did not identify, was flown by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center. Shannon Rees, 42, of Niagara Falls was charged with DWI and posted $250 bail. The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. on Military at Manor Road, but deputies did not release further information. The crash remains under investigation.
