Jacqueline Dotzler, 31, of Batavia, who was critically injured Monday when she was struck by a car as she was crossing Camp Road in Hamburg, has died of her injuries.

She is in critical condition at Erie County Medical Center. Dotzler was struck by a car in the southbound lane of Camp Road about 9:30 p.m. Monday and was taken to ECMC with what police described as “very serious” injuries, including a head injury.
The southbound lanes of Camp Road remained closed to traffic south of Southwestern Boulevard while police investigated the accident.
The motorist who hit the pedestrian remained at the scene and was fully cooperating with police investigators.
No charges will be filed against the driver, Hamburg police said this morning.
UPDATE: Jacqueline Dotzler died from her injuries on 04/24/14.
