Six people were transported from the scene to Rochester General Hospital, including a baby. The baby appears to be okay. A woman who was hurt in the crash later died at the hospital.

Police say 86-year-old Beatrice Polizzi of Irondequoit was driving on East Ridge Road when her vehicle was struck by a second car, driven by 56-year-old Terry Blue. Polizzi was injured in the crash and was taken to Rochester General Hospital where she later died. All passengers were treated and later released.
