The driver of the tractor trailer that struck and killed an 8-year-old boy while he was walking to school, has been charged for driving without a license.

An 8-year-old boy was hit by a truck and killed while crossing the street with his sister in Queens on his way to school Friday, the last day before the winter break.

The truck hit the third-grader, Noshat Nahian, as it turned from 61st Street onto Northern Boulevard, where he and his 11-year-old sister were crossing.
The child was hit by the rear tires, police said. His sister was not injured.
He was about a block from his school, PS 152.
The driver stayed at the scene. Police are investigating.
