State police say Harlie Rascoe, a seventh-grader at Saranac Lake Middle School, was operating a snowmobile in the driveway of her family home in Lake Clear on Saturday with a passenger, 12-year-old Christina Harvey, when the snowmobile struck a pickup truck and careened into a tree.
