John P. Cournoyer dies in auto accident near Moria

John P. Cournoyer, 56, of Manchester, N.H., was operating a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck east on Washington Street about 2:40 a.m. when the vehicle hit a guide rail, became airborne over the river and struck several large rocks before coming to rest on the east bank. An autopsy was scheduled to be performed Friday afternoon. State police are seeking a possible witness who was observed driving a small, white SUV in the area at the time of the crash.
