Bronx Teen Struck by 2 Vehicles, Dies
Police are seeking information about the second vehicle involved in the incident.
A Bronx teen died Sunday after being hit by two vehicles as he and another person were crossing a street. Dylon Ramirez and his friend, both 16, were hit at about 5 p.m. by a Honda Accord travelling north on Baychester Avenue. The Honda left the scene and Ramirez was then struck by a second vehicle, which also left the scene. Both victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where Ramirez was pronounced deceased. His friend was listed in critical condition. The driver of the Honda, a 26-year-old man, returned to the accident site and was arrested. Check back for information as it becomes available.
