Pedestrian dead after being hit by 3 cars in NYC

A third car hit the man and the driver remained at the scene. Police say a second car hit the victim and also kept going. NEW YORK (AP) — Police say a 52-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car in the Bronx and then struck by two more cars as he was lying in the roadway. Police say the man was crossing East 170th Street when he was knocked to the pavement by a car that kept going. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
