Brooklyn hit-run leaves 65-year-old woman near death.
The victim was crossing Eastern Parkway midblock near Utica Ave. in Crown Heights about 10:50 a.m. when she was hit struck by a Nissan Murano with New Jersey plates, officials said.
A 65-year-old woman was clinging to live after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn Thursday. The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was crossing Eastern Parkway midblock near Utica Ave. in Crown Heights when she was hit by a westbound Nissan Murano with New Jersey plates about 10:50 a.m., officials said. She was rushed to Kings County Hospital with life-threatening injuries, cops said. The SUV sped away south on Schenectady Ave., police said.
