Four hurt, one critically, when SUV crashes into restaurant.

An SUV driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a Popeyes in Brooklyn Sunday, injuring the driver and three customers in the restaurant, police said.

The vehicle smashed through the fast-food restaurant on Linden Boulevard in East Flatbush at about 8:45 p.m., police said. The driver was hurt, along with three people in the restaurant.

One of the victims was critically injured; two were taken to the hospital in serious condition and one had minor injuries, police said.

It wasn't clear what caused the driver to lose control of the car.
