A 36-year-old pregnant woman was struck and killed by a snowplow in Brooklyn during Thursday's storm, but doctors were able to save her baby, police said.
A 36-year-old pregnant woman was struck and killed by a snowplow in Brooklyn during Thursday's storm, but doctors were able to save her baby, police said. Min Lin and her husband were loading groceries into their car in the parking lot of a Sunset Park supermarket when she was hit by a plow backing up, police said. Lin died at the hospital, but doctors performed a cesarean section and were able to deliver her baby boy, police said. The plow was not privately owned and was being driven by a 42-year-old man.
