Police say a man who was driving while intoxicated with three children in his car struck a pole in Brooklyn, critically injuring one of the children.
Police say a man who was driving while intoxicated with three children in his car struck a pole in Brooklyn, critically injuring one of the children.
Anthony Pollydore was allegedly drunk while driving down Eastern Parkway at 8 a.m. when he struck the pole near Dean Street. An 11-year-old child who was in the car is now in critical condition at Kings County Hospital.
The other children in the car, 12 and 5, suffered minor injuries.
Pollydore has been charged with aggravated vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated and vehicular assault. Information on an attorney for him was not immediately available.
