Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a woman in Dix Hills this morning.
Cassandra Walter, 26, was headed north on Commack Road at about 7:00 a.m. when she veered into the southbound lane and collided with a minivan driven by Alex Dario Oliva Rodriguez, 35. The wreck left Walter dead at the scene, while Rodriguez was taken to the hospital, treated, released, and subsequently arrested for driving without a license.
