Nine people injured, two critically, all in their 20's 30's, all transported to hospital, after their SUV leaves the I-95 roadway in Eastchester, and crashes into a wall.
Nine people were taken to the hospital with injuries, many of them serious, after an SUV crash on a highway in the Bronx that may have been speed-related, officials say.
Rescuers were alerted to the one-car crash on Interstate 95 in Eastchester around 5:15 a.m. Friday, officials say.
A black SUV that apparently slammed into a barrier near an exit ramp at the crash site. Police say all the people inside the SUV were in their 20s and 30s, and emergency crews had to rip the doors off the vehicle to get them out.
Two of the victims remained in critical condition hours later; the others were listed as stable, hospital officials said.
