52-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking along Route 59 in the Village of Hillburn, New York

The victim, whose name they did not make public, appears to have been walking northbound on the southbound side of Route 59 when he was struck by a 2023 Honda Ridgeline truck traveling southbound, police said.
