A 59-year-old Huntington man has been arrested, charged with vehicular assault and driving while intoxicated after a head-on crash that left a 10-year-old girl critically injured Tuesday night in Woodbury, Nassau County police said.

Golden has been arrested for vehicular assault and DWI in connection with the accident.
Golden was admitted to a hospital and will be arraigned when medically practical.

Bail was set at $10,000 bond or $5,000 cash despite the NCDA requesting for bail to be set at $300,000 cash or $150,000 bond.
