Ontario County couple die after car spins into oncoming lane, hits another vehicle

State police said the driver of the other vehicle was not injured and had no passengers.
Husband and wife Robert and Elaine Hoag were killed in a two-car collision Friday morning on state Routes 5 and 20 in East Bloomfield in Ontario County. They died when their car spun into the oncoming lane and was hit by another vehicle. Robert Hoag was pronounced deceased soon after the crash at Thompson Hospital. Elaine Hoag was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition and died later that day.
