A motorcyclist who lost control of his vehicle as he was entering Interstate 690 was seriously injured late Thursday night.

Syracuse police have identified the man who lost control of his motorcycle Thursday night on Interstate 690 and crashed, seriously injuring himself.
A motorcyclist who lost control of his vehicle as he was entering Interstate 690 was seriously injured late Thursday night.
The crash occurred near the Bear Street on-ramp at around 11:55 p.m., police said.
A 38-year-old male, later identified as Richard Warren, was driving a 2001 Suzuki when he struck a guide rail on the entrance ramp and was ejected from the vehicle.
He was transported to Upstate University Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. No tickets have been issued.
The Syracuse Fire Department also responded to the crash, according to the Onondaga County 911 Dispatch Center.
