Isaiah McKoy, 30, killed and driver Samuel J. Eckert, 30, arrested in hit-and-run pedestrian collision at East Main Street and Thurber Drive in Waterloo, New York

Police say Samuel J. Eckert, 30, of Waterloo has been charged with several felonies including leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident (D) and tampering with evidence (E). He's also been charged with unlicensed operation and failure to use a designated lane.
