The wreck happened on Highway 150 at Bel Air Drive, closing the highway. Officials say the man's car hit a section of a double-wide home in transit, which nearly cut the car in half. Witnesses told troopers the driver was weaving before hitting the wide load, coming from the opposite direction.

A man is dead following a crash that shut a highway down in Lincoln County Thursday morning, according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The wreck happened on Highway 150 at Bel Air Drive, closing the highway. Officials say 58-year-old Lawrence Anthony Borsey's car hit a section of a double-wide home in transit, which nearly cut the car in half. Witnesses told troopers the driver, later identified as Borsey, was weaving before hitting the wide load, coming from the opposite direction.
