Officials: Student taken to hospital after school bus wreck.

A Charlotte student was taken to the hospital after a wreck involving a school bus Friday afternoon.
A Charlotte student was taken to the hospital after a wreck involving a school bus Friday afternoon. The accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Shamrock Drive and Crestmont Drive in east Charlotte. Police stated that the wreck involved a school bus from Harding High School and another vehicle. One person was pinned in the other vehicle, and is expected to be okay. One student was riding the bus at the time of the accident. That student was taken to the hospital. Their condition has not been released. Officials have not said what may have caused the wreck, or if any charges are being filed.
