At least one person killed in crash on Lancaster Highway

At least one person was killed in a crash in Charlotte's Ballantyne area Monday morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say. The accident happened around 7:15 on Lancaster Highway at Cardinal Woods Drive. Officials have not said how many vehicles or people were involved in the crash. No names have been released.
