Passenger dies after Hickory crash, police still searching for driver

Police are searching for a man they say crashed a car and ran off, leaving a passenger in critical condition inside the car. Unrestrained passenger, Erik Boyles, had sustained critical injuries in the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hickory Police Department at 828-328-5551. The Hickory Police Department say the investigation is ongoing.
