19-year-old girl killed in Union Co crash, officials say Posted: Updated: A teenage girl was killed in a traffic accident in Union County Thursday. No charges have been filed, but officials say the cause of accident is still under investigation. Officials say Emily Brook Parker, 19, of Waxhaw was driving a 2009 Honda Civic northeast on Rogers Rd. The crash happened around 3 p.m., at the intersection of Old Charlotte Highway and Rogers Road in Monroe. When she went to make a left turn onto Old Charlotte Hwy, she collided with a 2004 F-250, driven by Michael James Ivey, 41, of Marshville.
