Daniel Bruce Frost, 66, was killed when his moped ran a red light at an intersection and collided with a car in Burlington, North Carolina

A man riding a moped was killed in a collision with another vehicle Tuesday night. Daniel Bruce Frost, 66, of Burlington, was killed around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Church Street and Gurney Street. Frost was driving a 2009 Honda moped west on South Church Street when he collided with a 2008 Chevrolet going north on Gurney Street, Burlington police said. Frost was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car wasn't injured. The investigation continues. Two witnesses told police Frost ran a red light.
