One person killed in collision involving stolen vehicle on Bland Boulevard in Burlington, North Carolina

Around 2:40 p.m., an officer saw the vehicle pulling into the parking lot of Dollar Tree on North Church Street. The officer tried to do a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled and drove onto Bland Boulevard. The car struck a tree near the intersection of Bland Boulevard and McKinney Street.
