Edgar Jehovanni Ramos, Etzel Martinez Cruz, Jose Louis Gonzalez-Delon killed when their car crashes into concrete wall at high speed.

Three men were killed in a single vehicle accident early Tuesday morning in High Point.

High Point police said it happened at the intersection of South Main St. and High Avenue at 12:15 a.m.

Police said the driver was identified as Edgar Jehovanni Ramos, 19. The passengers were identified as Etzel Martinez Cruz, 39 and Jose Louis Gonzalez-Delon, 29. The men were from High Point.

Authorities said an Audi crashed into a concrete wall at the Showplace West building. The vehicle split in two, and police said the victims died at the scene.

Police said the vehicle was traveling over 100 mph prior to colliding with the wall. Police added that alcohol is suspected to be a factor.

Some of the building's windows were broken, but authorities said the building is structurally sound.

A portion of Main Street was closed overnight but has since reopened.
