A driver is dead and another driver was injured in a head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer Wednesday morning. There was fog in the area at the time of the crash, troopers said. The truck driver, Casey Rainey, 53, of Burlington, was taken to a Danville hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. The car was going above the speed limit at the time of the collision, troopers said. Nathan Lee Pevyhouse, 23, of Cary, died in the crash around 8:20 a.m. on Highway 86 a few miles north of Yanceyville.
