Asheville police released surveillance video and a still image of a vehicle they believe might be involved in the incident, possibly a blue Toyota sedan.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday on Grove Street.
Police said the bicyclist was hit by a vehicle and taken to Mission Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The cyclist, James Shearon, 28, died from his injuries on March 8, according to Asheville police.
Police said Shearon was hit on Grove Street around 5:05 p.m. on March 1.
