Teen killed in Asheville crash
An 18-year-old from Weaverville was killed in a crash Sunday morning in Asheville, police said.
Investigators say 18-year-old Chasen Brown was changing lanes when she approached another vehicle quickly on I-240 near Charlotte Street Sunday morning. She overcorrected to avoid hitting the vehicle and lost control, leaving the roadway and striking a tree. She died at the scene.
