The chase on Thursday ended in Harnett County when the driver crashed into a law enforcement SUV on U.S. Highway 421. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said authorities used a precision immobilization technique (PIT) maneuver on the highway to box the vehicle in, which ended the chase.
Officer Hospitalized Following Two County Pursuit
One officer was hospitalized and several patrol cars were damaged during a high speed pursuit this morning (Thursday) through Johnston and Harnett counties.
