Two men were killed Sunday while trying to help someone who crashed on Interstate 87. A black SUV went off the road into a ditch. Two men pulled over to help and walked over to the grassy area where the crash happened.

According to the State Highway Patrol, around 12:30 p.m. a black Cadillac SUV went off the road into a ditch near Smithfield Road. Two men in separate cars pulled over on the shoulder and walked over to the grassy area where the crash occurred, troopers said.
