The trooper attempted to catch up to the speeding Kia passenger car, but had not initiated a traffic stop or pursuit, as the vehicle was no longer in sight.Prior to the trooper being able to overtake the Kia, the driver attempted to exit at Brogden Road. The Kia ran off the roadway to the left colliding with several trees.
