Clinton man killed in fiery Sampson County crash

The Highway Patrol said a 2018 Honda Accord caught fire after the crash around 12:07 p.m. Wednesday. The car was heading west on West Main Street at a high rate of speed when it ran off the road to the right in a sharp curve and struck a tree, according to the Highway Patrol.

24 Year-Old Driver Dies In Fiery Crash

A 24 year-old Sampson County man died Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident. The wreck was reported at 12:07pm on W. Main Street near Overland Road, 0.8 miles south of Clinton.
