A person was injured in a hit-and-run early Saturday morning in Johnston County. Around 2:30 a.m., police were dispatched to Massey Street in Smithfield.
Hit And Run Accident Injures Pedestrian
Police said Jacquan Hooks, age 29, of Four Oaks was standing next to the driver’s side of a 2023 BMW, parked and facing west on Massey Street. Hooks was sideswiped by an unknown westbound car, around 2:09am Saturday. The car failed to stop.
