Crashes in Leland, Wilmington leave 3 dead

Woodward, 22, is facing charges of felony death by vehicle, reckless driving to endanger and driving while impaired in connection with the accident.
At about 1:09am, Woodward was driving an SUV on Carolina Beach Road when she crashed into the back of a sedan that was traveling the same direction. Fox, a passenger in the sedan that was driven by his wife, died as a result of the collision. Woodward now faces numerous charges, including DWI.
