Two injured in crash on Highway 281 in Jamestown, North Dakota
New Year’s Eve Crash Hwy 281 S Jamestown
The ND Highway Patrol reports a 39 year old Jamestown man was injured Friday about 9:21 p.m. in a crash between his pickup and a semi, on U.S. Highway 281 two miles south of Jamestown.
Sgt. Ben Kennelly reports, a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 39 year old Ian Winchester of Jamestown, was southbound along with a 2016 International truck pulling a flatbed load of lumber, driven by 47 year old Darshan Singh, of Saskatoon, SK.
Semi Truck Involved in New Year’s Eve Crash Near Jamestown
A 2001 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Ian Winchester of Jamestown, and a 2016 International Truck with a flatbed load of lumber, driven by Darshan Singh of Saskatchewan, were traveling southbound on Highway 281. The semi began to pass the suburban, while the suburban was attempting to make a left-hand turn, striking the vehicle. Both the semi and suburban were pulled into the ditch, with the semi falling onto its side.
