Two men were killed Thursday morning when the vehicle they were traveling in collided with a utility pole on Highway 85 25 miles north of Williston.

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says two men have been killed in rollover accident about 25 miles north of Williston. The patrol says the driver was heading south on Highway 85 about 8 a.m. They are a 26-year-old man from Williston and a 25-year-old man from Roseburg, Oregon. Both the driver and passenger were ejected and killed. When the driver overcorrected, the car spun out, entered a ditch, overturned, and struck a utility pole.

Patrol identifies men killed in accident north of Williston

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified two men killed in a rollover accident about 25 miles north of Williston. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the Thursday morning wreck killed the 26-year-old driver, John Forrester, of Williston, and a 25-year-old passenger, Matthew Mosell of Roseburg, Oregon. The patrol says Forrester was heading south on Highway 85 when the car crossed the center line into the northbound lane. Both Forrester and Mosell were ejected and killed. When Forrester overcorrected, the car spun out, entered a ditch, overturned and struck a utility pole.
