Man gets 11 years for Bond Hill teen's hit-and-run death
He was sentenced Wednesday on charges of aggravated vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crime.
Asia Denson, A 17, was hit and killed by a car Sunday night in Bond Hill at approximately 11 p.m. while crossing Reading Road at Avonlea. The driver of the silver BMW then left the scene. Denson was taken to UC Medical Center where she died from her injuries. Authorities report they found a car matching the description of the fleeing vehicle soon after the collision, but there were no occupants in it at the time. Police did take a person into custody, but no charges have yet been filed. Check back for more information as it becomes available.
