One-car crash in South Euclid kills 16-year-old girl.

A 16-year-old girl was killed about 1 p.m. Saturday when the car she was in hit a tree and a utility pole on Telhurst Road near South Green Road, police said.

A 16-year-old has died from her injuries after a car crash in South Euclid on Telhurst Rd, near South Green. The single car accident happened around 1p.m. Saturday when a Pontiac Grand Am struck a tree and then a telephone pole. According to the Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office decedent list Karly Ciuprinskas has been identified as the deceased victim. Ciuprinskas was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other teens were in the car at the time of the accident. They were taken to an area hospital, their conditions are unknown at this time a South Euclid Police Sergeant said. It is unknown if alcohol was a factor, the crash is still under investigation.
