Willoughby police find drugs on suspected drunken driver who crashed truck
Michael Ingrassia, 43, of Willowick crashed his black Ford F-250 about 5 p.m. Thursday into a guardrail on State Route 2 westbound at the Vine Street exit. Ingrassia was not injured when his truck fell 1-2 feet into a muddy ditch.
Michael Ingrassia was arrested after he crashed his Ford F-250 into a guardrail on State Route 2 near the Vine Street exit. He was not injured in the crash. After searching the vehicle police found a gallon-size bag of marijuana, a syringe, a digital scale, individually wrapped papers with an unknown gel substance and diazepam. He failed field sobriety tests and was charged with felony drug possession, OVI, and possessing drug abuse instruments.
