Bennet Matthew Gooding, 21, killed and Jennica Megan O'Reilly, 22, injured in a single-car crash on Kingsbury Road in Delaware County, Ohio

A single-vehicle crash occured on Kingsbury Road at about 1:44 p.m. on Monday. Bennet Matthew Gooding, 21,  was driving a 2008 Scion TC east on Kingsbury Road when he lost control of the vehicle. The car traveled off the north side of the roadway, overturned, and came to rest in a yard. Gooding was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, Jennica Megan O'Reilly, 22, of Delaware, was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. O'Reilly was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash while Gooding was not.
