Rebecca Pugh, 41, killed, after losing control of her vehicle on eastbound I-670 in Columbus, and striking the concrete median, where she was ejected from her vehicle.

Columbus police closed both north and southbound ramps to Interstate 71 from Interstate 670 east, while officers investigated a fatal crash early Saturday morning.

According to the Columbus Police Department, at about 2:46 a.m. Saturday, 41-year-old Rebecca Pugh was driving eastbound I-670 towards I-71 when she lost control of the vehicle and struck the concrete median.

Pugh was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

The ramps from I-670 eastbound to I-71 in both directions were closed for about five hours while police investigated, but have since reopened.

Police continue to investigate the crash, but say alcohol could be a factor in the crash.
