One person seriously injured, transported to hospital, after they are struck by a vehicle, while walking on Riverside Drive, in Marble Cliff.

Grandview and Columbus police are investigating a crash that severely injured a pedestrian along Riverside Drive.

The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. along Riverside Drive near West 5th Avenue in the Village of Marble Cliff.

A pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The driver was interviewed at the scene and released. No charges have been filed at this time.

A portion of Riverside Drive was closed in the area, but traffic was diverted through a shopping center.
