A 30-year-old Mark Center man is dead after crashing his snowmobile into a deep ditch in a field near the intersection of Fountain Street and Farmer Mark roads.

The sheriff’s release stated that Shidler was riding the snowmobile by himself in a field near his residence when he crashed into a deep ditch, suffering an apparent head injury.
