Woman killed in Broken Arrow collision Friday morning

BROKEN ARROW — A woman is dead after a head-on crash in Broken Arrow on Friday morning, according to police. The woman, who was in her 50s, was driving south on North Elm Place near the West Kenosha Street intersection about 4:30 a.m. when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck another car head-on, Sgt. Keith Cook said. She was taken to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries. Her name has not been released.

Sheryl Smith, 58, of Tulsa was driving south in the 1100 block of Elm Place near Kenosha Street at about 4:45 a.m. when her silver Lincoln went left of center and struck a northbound Dodge Dart head-on, Sgt. Thomas Cooper said.
