2 killed in 3-vehicle collision on turnpike in Rogers County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two people have died in a three-vehicle collision that occurred when one of the vehicles traveled eastbound in the westbound lanes of the Will Rogers Turnpike in Rogers County. Troopers say the collision occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Troopers say the collision occurred when a vehicle driven by Lopez that was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the turnpike struck a westbound pickup truck driven by Landing head on. The patrol says each of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries. The victims were identified as 32-year-old Crystal Lopez of Tulsa and 40-year-old George Landing of Broken Arrow.
